2025 Queen Rearing Workshop – Registration Closed

Ready to take beekeeping to the next level? For those of you who already have a working foundation in beekeeping, the WSU bee team aims to improve your understanding of queen rearing, bee breeding systems, and selection methods through presentations and hands-on demonstrations.

Special Guest Speaker:  Melanie Kirby, Director and Co-owner of Zia Queenbees and Extension Educator of Land Grant Programs at the Institute of American Indian Arts

Registration Fee: $200

Location:  WSU Othello Honey Bee and Pollinator Facility, 1485 W Cunningham Rd, Othello WA 99344

Attendees are welcome to travel the day before to stay overnight and join members of the WSU Bee team for hosted dinner at Checo’s Mexican Cuisine on Friday night (June 20th) for $30 extra ($230 total). If you plan on drinking alcohol at the dinner, it is not included in this price; please plan for that to be a personal expense.
