Attendees are encouraged to have prior basic beekeeping experience and/or interest in being a part of this club. \nWhen: Saturday June 7th 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM \nWhere: Heritage Farm\, Vancouver WA \nPrice: \n\n$40 FOR PNW QUEEN REARING CLUB MEMBERS\n$60 for Non-members*\n\n*includes club membership fee\, if desired! \nLunch is provided. \nWSU Bee Program is hosting a comprehensive Queen Rearing Workshop in Othello June 21\, 2025.  \nAttendees at this mini-workshop will receive a $10 discount if they register for both (wait for the discount code from the WSU Bee Program). \nRegistration is CLOSED.\n

DESCRIPTION:Ready to take beekeeping to the next level? For those of you who already have a working foundation in beekeeping\, the WSU bee team aims to improve your understanding of queen rearing\, bee breeding systems\, and selection methods through presentations and hands-on demonstrations. \n \nSpecial Guest Speaker:  Melanie Kirby\, Director and Co-owner of Zia Queenbees and Extension Educator of Land Grant Programs at the Institute of American Indian Arts \nRegistration Fee: $200 \nLocation:  WSU Othello Honey Bee and Pollinator Facility\, 1485 W Cunningham Rd\, Othello WA 99344 \nAttendees are welcome to travel the day before to stay overnight and join members of the WSU Bee team for hosted dinner at Checo’s Mexican Cuisine on Friday night (June 20th) for $30 extra ($230 total).
